All information relating to our auctions is available on this website. Please only contact us via this website. We shall be undertaking 100% remote auctions using our internet services. The following now applies:
As the saleroom is closed we will be undertaking public viewing using social media live services. All information will be available via this website and our social media accounts. Please follow us to avoid disappointment.
Property viewing is by appointment only, organised on the lot page. Only those with confirmed time slots will gain access to ensure social distancing.
All condition reports, if available, can be viewed on this website catalogue in written or photographic form. If you are not 100% prepared to pay for the lot, then please do not bid. Refunds will not be issued. Please refer to our standard conditions of sale which are available on our website.
Auctions will be streamed live and sold via our website. We do not charge extra for bidding live via our website Register for an account to bid live.
Alternatively use your account to leave absentee bids.
We do use portals, such as thesaleroom.com. Please ensure you are fully informed of all extra charges when bidding via a third party.
Please note the additional charges relating to postage or courier charges on each lot.
Payment is due immediately after the auction.
If you are successful your invoice will appear on your account directly after the auction and you will receive an invoice by email. You can pay either online or bank transfer ONLY. We are unable to accept cash or cheques.

Postage, couriers and collection
The saleroom is closed due to Covid-19.
Postage charges apply. See below. If postage charges are applicable, once paid, your lots will be despatched by us to the registered address.
In person collection is strictly by appointment only and can only be undertaken during the timeslots advertised on our website. Collection timeslots are only available in the three working days after the sale. If you are unable to collect during these appointment times, you must use an authorised courier. If you are unable to follow these terms, please do not bid.
We do not offer a storage facility. Uncollected lots will be entered into the next available auction to cover costs to our business.
All lots have an explanation of postage costs, courier services or collection in their description. If a lot description has a postage charge, the buyer will settle this as part of their invoice and we will despatch the item. If a lot requires courier collection, details of what to do are below.
Lots will be despatched to the registered address by post or authorised courier ONLY.
Royal Mail Special Delivery Postage
Each lot description will define postage charges if applicable. Once the invoice is paid, each lot will be posted to the registered address ONLY. If multiple lots are purchased by the same bidder, we will bundle the delivery to reduce the postage charges in accordance with the Royal Mail’s insurance values. Relevant tracking numbers will be available on your Biddle and Webb account.
Courier services must be arranged no later than three working days after the auction.
Mail Boxes Etc
Each lot will define Mail Boxes Etc delivery if applicable. To arrange for lots to be collected by Mail Boxes Etc:

Authorised courier collection
If the lot is too large to post or handle through Mail Boxes Etc, the successful buyer will need to arrange collection by an authorised courier service. To arrange Pack & Send to collect your item(s) from us please call 0121 227 9908, or email email@example.com.
For large or heavy lots, please ensure that couriers arrive prepared with two people. Our staff are unable to help with lifting. However, we will ensure that heavy and large lots being collected are available at our ground floor reception with free parking directly outside.
If you are unable to follow these terms, please do not bid. We are committed to ensuring social distancing for the health of our staff and customers.
